Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager

Mr. Fine has over 17 years of experience in technology equity research, including 14 years as a portfolio manager. For the past 13 years, Mr. Fine and co-founder Peter Richards have jointly managed the portfolio at Empire Capital. Mr. Fine and Mr. Richards retain joint authority over stock selection and trading decisions, leveraging a research team of five additional analysts focused on individual sub-sectors. Additionally, Mr. Fine and Mr. Richards equally co-own the General Partner. Prior to forming Empire Capital in 1996, Mr. Fine managed OSO Partners, a technology-oriented hedge fund. He also worked as a research analyst at Alta Partners and Gruss Partners, where he followed the technology sector. Mr. Fine received an A.B. in Psychology from Harvard University.
